Checking cashing is available at all Publix locations and transactions can be initiated at the customer service desk. In order to cash a check, guests must provide the customer service agent with a valid form of photo identification. Driver’s licenses, state identification card or military identification cards are acceptable. Publix will cash personal checks as well as employer checks but currently, they do not cash government refund checks or rebate checks. Some locations will call the company or issuing bank prior to completing the transaction.
Publix Check Cashing Fees
The fee to cash any check varies based on location and the type of check being cashed. Fees never exceed $4.00.
Publix will cash personal checks as long as they do not exceed $75.00 and employer checks must not exceed $500.00.
