7 Eleven Money Order Policy

The majority of 7 Eleven locations offer money order purchasing services.  Western Union and Moneygram are the services most commonly used by 7 Eleven to process money order requests.  Some locations also provide customers with access to Vcom ATM money centers that can also be used to purchase money orders.  At all locations,  a 7 Eleven money order can only be purchased using cash.  Neither debit cards nor credit cards are acceptable forms of payment when making a money order related transaction.








7 Eleven Money Order Fees

There is a $500.00 per money order limit at all 7 Eleven locations.

The fee for money orders up to $500.00 is $0.75 per transaction at most locations.

If a Western Union money order is lost or stolen a refund can be processed as long as you have a receipt.  The processing fee for a refund is $15.00.  If a Moneygram money order is lost and the receipt is available the processing fee for a refund is $18.00.

When a receipt is not available for a Western Union money order a $30.00 processing fee is charged and a research request form needs to be completed.  In all cases of lost or stolen money orders the processing fee is nonrefundable.
